A robust financial plan is designed to help clients pursue a confident retirement. William Thatcher, founder, president and wealth advisor of Thatcher Wealth Management, helps his clients create plans tailored to their specific needs.

Being a Series 65 investment adviser representative (IAR), life and health insurance licensed and National Social Security Advisor (NSSA) designation holder, William can help lead you through your financial planning process. Couple this with his degree from Calvin University, and you have a knowledgeable financial professional to work with. As an independent Investment Advisor Representative, he is able to offer custom tailored strategies to help you pursue your ideal retirement.

At the start of his journey, William saw success when he founded Anvil, an award-winning company*, building plans to help Americans save money.

After his success leading that company, William was inspired to further pursue his goal of serving by focusing on optimal financial strategies for retirement here in west Michigan. William is passionate about giving back to the community by helping clients create confident retirements and lasting legacies as a wealth advisor.

When William isn’t in the office or holding seminars on retirement, you’ll find him volunteering at church, playing tennis, hiking, exercising, reading or breaking bread with friends and family.

National Social Security Advisor Certificate Program (NSSA) is a certification created by the National Social Security Association, a for-profit entity. The NSSA Certificate Program grants a Certificate to those who complete the one-day course and pass the proctored assessment. NSSA is independently accredited by The Institute in Credentialing Excellence (ICE). NSSA is not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, the Social Security Administration or any governmental agency.

Aubrey is our Client Service Specialist and Office Administrator. Aubrey's focus is on the clients and to help facilitate the application process.

With a finance degree, Aubrey has a strong rooted background in customer service and finance. She enjoys connecting with clients and ensuring their onboarding experience and servicing run as smoothly as possible. We know here at Thatcher Wealth Management experience can make all the difference in the world and we take the utmost care to apply that knowledge for our clients.

When not in office, Aubrey loves spending time with her husband and two kids.
Aubrey has a background in food and loves to bake and spend quality time with her family while doing so. As a family, they enjoy traveling, biking, music, and being outdoors together.

Emily’s passion for making every interaction memorable is evident in her approach to planning events, where she goes above and beyond to ensure that clients not only feel welcomed but also valued. Her creative vision and meticulous attention to detail are the key ingredients that elevate our firm’s events and marketing efforts, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who engages with us.

From initial meetings to fostering deep, long-term relationships, Emily thrives on building bonds that extend far beyond the financial world. She takes pride in her ability to create spaces where genuine connections flourish, and the experiences she curates reflect her belief in the power of personal touch.

Outside of her professional role, Emily enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors, finding inspiration in nature’s beauty. In her personal time, she can be found reading, practicing yoga, or immersing herself in music and podcasts—always seeking new ways to grow, learn, and recharge.

As a dedicated wealth advisor, Michael is committed to helping individuals and families reach their financial goals. With a Series 65 certification, Life and Health certification, and a certification as a Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA), he brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Michael’s genuine interest in clients’ personal stories allows for tailored guidance that meets each client’s unique needs.

At the core of his philosophy is the belief that informed clients are empowered clients. Michael excels at simplifying complex financial concepts, ensuring that clients feel confident as they navigate their financial journeys. Teaching and coaching are at the heart of his approach.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending quality time outdoors with his wife and son, engaging in activities like hiking, biking, camping, and making memories by the water. He also has a passion for reading, always eager to learn more and expand his horizons.

With his experience and personal approach, Michael is ready to work with clients to preserve their financial futures and turn dreams into reality.
